Decoration

Reflecting on our 1995 reception, I’m struck by the seamless grace of the entire evening. Even decades later, these images radiate the warmth of a milestone handled with absolute class.

A Legacy of Elegance

Our reception wasn’t just an event; it was a sensory experience, the heavy scent of lilies, the rhythmic clinking of crystal, and a ballroom that felt like it was breathing with us. Decades later, the elegance of that night hasn’t faded; it has simply matured into a timeless legacy.

A Symphony in Tulle, 1995

That reunion felt like yesterday. A perfect, simpler time with family. I’m so glad we have those memories.

The Perfect Reunion Venue, 2004

I still smile thinking about that corporate retreat. It was where our team came together. Good times in a great place.

Top-Notch for Corporate Retreats, 1996

Looking back, our wedding was a golden age. The magical ballroom and attentive staff made a beautiful memory that still feels real.

Is it possible to host both the ceremony and reception in one place?

Whether you envision an elegant ballroom ceremony, a courtyard celebration, or a cocktail hour on the pool patio, our team will help you create a seamless flow from “I do” to the final dance—all in one beautiful location.

Are you able to accommodate different cultural or ethnic wedding traditions?

Absolutely. The William Tell Hotel proudly welcomes and celebrates weddings of all cultures and traditions, including South Asian weddings. We understand the importance of meaningful customs, vibrant celebrations, and multi-event wedding weekends, and our team is experienced in supporting the unique flow and energy of South Asian ceremonies.

Our flexible event spaces can accommodate traditional celebrations such as Mehndi, Sangeet, Baraat, and wedding ceremonies and receptions, whether you envision an indoor ballroom setting or an outdoor gathering in our courtyard or pool patio area. We can also accommodate key cultural elements such as Mandap setups, staging and dance floors, extended event timelines, and larger guest counts.

Our on-site wedding coordinator will work closely with you and your vendors to ensure every detail is handled smoothly—from event transitions and décor logistics to guest experience—so your celebration feels seamless, elevated, and unforgettable.

If you’re planning a multi-day South Asian wedding celebration, we’re happy to help create a customized experience tailored to your traditions and vision.

What are the hotel's policies on decorations?

At the William Tell Hotel, we want your wedding to reflect your personal style and vision and décor plays a big part in that. To ensure safety and care of our spaces, we ask that all decorations follow a few simple guidelines:

Allowed Decorations

  • Floral arrangements, centerpieces, and table décor
  • Freestanding arches, mandaps, and ceremonial structures
  • Fabrics, draping, and lighting enhancements
  • Battery-operated candles and LED elements
  • Items That Are Not Permitted
  • Open flames (such as real candles without protective enclosure)
  • Wall-adhesive products that may damage surfaces (e.g., tape, nails)
  • Confetti, glitter, rice, or similar materials that are difficult to clean

Installation & Removal

  • All décor setup and teardown must occur within the scheduled event time unless prior arrangements are made with our event team.
  • Vendors must comply with hotel safety standards and coordinate with our staff when moving large items or structures.

Our event coordinator will be happy to review your décor plans in advance to make sure everything meets our standards while bringing your vision to life.

If you have questions about specific items, just ask, we’re here to help!
